Herminia Miño de Kaspar
is an accomplished microbiologist and infectious disease expert with over 40 years of academic and industrial experience. During her tenure at the Eye Hospital of the Munich Ludwigs-Maximilians-University (Germany) and the Department of Ophthalmology of Stanford University (California) she directed numerous studies on the prevention of eye infections and improved antibiotic stewardship. She conceptualized and established microbiology laboratories in multiple countries, trained numerous students and acted as advisor at universities and institutions in Europe, Latin America and Africa.
Herminia Miño de Kaspar studied Pharmacy, Biochemistry and Microbiology in Paraguay, France and Germany and holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
